The incredible legacy of Les Twentyman will live on through his Foundation

Les Twentyman was a towering figure in the realm of social activism, someone who dedicated his life to serving the most vulnerable members of our society, right up until passing peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2024.

Les held an unwavering commitment to helping those in need and through his youth work and his Foundation had a profound impact on the lives of thousands of young Victorians and their families.

A true social warrior, Les was fearless in speaking truth to power and giving a voice to the voiceless and through his Foundation leaves behind a legacy of empowerment and hope for young people seeking a brighter future that will live long past his extraordinary life.

In recognition of his life work in helping kids to find a positive future, the Victorian government and Premier Jacinta Allen have kindly extended an offer of a state memorial service for Les Twentyman, a gesture that the entire community will embrace as a fitting tribute to a someone who dedicated their life to serving others and improving the lives of those in need.

The heartfelt tributes outpouring of grief from across the nation are a testament to the impact Les had on the lives of so many and as the community comes together to celebrate his incredible life, those at the Les Twentyman Foundation are inspired to ensure that his enormous legacy of compassion and support for the disadvantaged will endure for generations to come.
