Generosity and Community Effort Bring Joy to Thousands in Need

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Les Twentyman Foundation proudly announces the success of its 2023 Christmas programs. The organization, with the collective effort of our supporters, played a crucial role in supporting 1,935 individuals during the festive season.

The foundation went above and beyond, distributing over 4,000 gifts to ensure that young people facing adversity had something special to unwrap on Christmas morning. The act aimed to bring cheer and warmth to those who may have otherwise been left without during the holiday season.

Acknowledging the challenges posed by the current cost of living crisis, the Les Twentyman Foundation extended its reach by providing 312 Christmas food boxes to families experiencing food shortages in their pantries. This effort aimed to alleviate the added burden many families faced during this difficult time.

Last year’s surge in demand for support from families in need was met with an equally impressive outpouring of generosity from the community. The Les Twentyman Foundation expresses its heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the Christmas Appeal, making it possible to address the heightened numbers of families in need.

The foundation extends sincere gratitude to the United Firefighters Union for hosting our annual ‘UFU BBQ in the Park.’ Additionally, Morrows and the Westgate Tunnel Project played a pivotal role in the ‘Christmas Cave,’ contributing to the distribution of gifts and food hampers to families in need. Their support and involvement brought profound joy and happiness to countless families, underscoring the impact that collaboration can achieve.

To all donors, volunteers, and supporting organizations, the Les Twentyman Foundation extends a heartfelt thank you. Your kindness has genuinely made a difference, providing crucial support to those who needed it most during the Christmas period. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
