Design our basketball program logo
It’s competition time! Put your artistic skills to good use and you could win a sport voucher valued at $500!
The Les Twentyman Foundation is calling on young people in Victoria aged 5 to 18 years to go bananas creative and design a fun logo for our basketball program. This is a great opportunity to win some cool prizes:
First prize: $500 sport voucher
Second prize: $300 sport voucher
Third prize: $100 sport voucher
Last year, a working group of past and present players reviewed the logo of the Les Twentyman Foundation basketball club. Based on their recommendations, we’re planning to rename our basketball club to the “96ers” to commemorate when the club was established and to better reflect the history, values and spirit.
About Redskins Basketball Club
Through the game of basketball, the Redskins Basketball Club (RBC) introduces young people to the bigger game of LIFE. The RBC was established in 1996 and has provided thousands of young people in Melbourne’s western suburbs with an opportunity to be part of a family oriented club.
Our basketball program provides an inclusive environment for young people from a range of diverse backgrounds to build their confidence and fitness and to connect with the local community through sport. The program provides an opportunity for kids to learn, play and compete in basketball in an affordable and flexible way.
We acknowledge that the name “Redskins” offends many people. Our club has a great history and is loved by many young people and families across Melbourne. We believe it deserves at name that reflects our long history in this sport and our love for the game.
